la cienega design walk
The Legends of La Cienega Design Walk is the first event of this kind on La Cienega. I will be leaving town this weekend to go see my mom for mothers day, but I will be attending the events on Thursday and Friday. I am excited to check out the designer vignettes on La Cienega especially: Tim Clark at George Smith, Waldo Fernadez at Lee Stanton Antiques, Martin Lawrence-Bullard at Woodson Rummerfield's House of Design, Elizabeth Dinkel at Custom City Lamp Shades, and Suzanne Rheinstein at Downtown. If I have time I will be sure to check out all of them. I can't wait! I encourange you to check out the site for a full schedule, it will be an event to remember with good weather and good design, bring your mom if she's in town!

I was able to attend this event and it was a great success thanks to all the participants and the LCDQ. The best part was that everything was free and open to the public, as well.
Please check out their site, they are a non-profit organization bringing awareness back to the old design district of La Cienega. www.lcdqla.com
And the good news is that Margaret Russell said at the Gala Party at Therien & Co. that they hope to do another one next year!
Oh great! I think its a great thing for the whole design community. Especially retailers on La Cienega
